On Sunday 03.01.2010 we hired So Sophea (sosophea@ymail.com) as a guide and he brought us to Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom and Ta Prohm.
He was knowledgeable, well informed and mad an excellent command of English. He conducted the tour at a gentle relaxed pace and was not at all intrusive but answered all questions about historic and current Cambodian life thoughtfully and honestly. We highly recommend this guide.

I would like to say that I have found So Sophea to be an excellent guide in Siem Reap Cambodia.
From the moment he met me at the airport I realized I was in very good hands. His English and knowledge of the superb temples of Angkor Wat and environs are very good. His courtesy and assistance, second to none. I am not a good photographer and he even assisted me with my photos!
I travel all over the world as a freelance Tour Manager and I recognize a good guide when I meet one. I would have no hesitation in recommending him. He even tailor-made a tour on my second day to the Tonle Sap Lake and the town, saving me money.

I have been to Seam Reap on two occasions, and have used the services of Sophea and his colleagues on both visits.
The local knowledge Sophea has is excellent, as well as his knowledge of the history of the temples and surrounding area. I have used a number of guides in this region of south east Asia, and would have to say that Sophea is the best by a long way. As a guide he is brilliant, but also a lovely, warm human being who is a pleasure to be with.I would have no hesitation in recommended him to any visitor to Seam Reap.

We just arrived back to Portugal, the weather is great but we feel tired. We loved Cambodia and you made our trip even nicer, thank you again so much for your kindness.I hope it will not rain too much so you won't be too lazy staying at home.
